Practice Hand Lettering with a brush pen!
Learn how you can incorporate Brush Calligraphy to your work.
Before tracing the last sketch you made in the previous lesson,
you will practice hand lettering using a brush pen.
Brushed letters give the art piece a totally different mood compared to letters done with pens and pencils.
A piece made out of different components is interesting enough.
However, you could bring your work to an even higher level by mixing different lettering styles together.
In this lesson, you will practice the strokes needed to create brush letters.
You will first focus on the anatomy of the letters before forming the words.
In the second half of the lesson, you will draw the word "Lettering",
learning how to solidify the structure of your composition.
Getting your composition right the first time is pretty hard so you will practice in a different paper
and transfer the letters to your final piece, which allows you to make mistakes.
This procedure is useful for so many works, so don't miss out!
By the end of this lesson, you will not only have learned the strokes needed
to apply brush calligraphy to your composition, but the variation of your works will be wider!
Mastering brush lettering and pointed pen calligraphy will give you
different ideas to achieve different styles and moods in your future works.
