In this lesson, we'll be learning the running man, which is a staple dance move everyone should know!
In this lesson, KIDO, who is a dance instructor here at avex kids' dance academy,
will be teaching us how to do the running man, which is derived from the basic dance steps we learned in lesson 1. He'll also be teaching us a choreography that uses the running man steps in different ways!
Let's take on this new dance move once you've mastered how to move to the beat, as well as some basic dance steps!
The running man is a dance move that is derived from
the hopping dance step that we learned previously.
You've almost definitely heard of the word "running man" before, but have you ever wondered what it's actually like?
It's one of the most common steps that is used in a wide variety of dances and choreographies. It's a dance move you simply have to learn!
In the first half of the lesson, we'll be learning the running man in parts, using the hop step as a base.
Here, KIDO will be giving us lots of tips and tricks on a range of things, from how to make the running man look cooler, to how parents and teachers can help their kids improve faster.
And then in the second half of the lesson, we'll be learning a new choreography that makes use of all the steps we learned before.
The choreography is relatively simple and easy to learn, but it's extremely entertaining. Let's dance this running man step you've never seen before and show off your skills!
Do also pay attention to the children's expressions in the video;
the way they smile and laugh as they enjoy the lesson and learn more about the dance shows that this video can teach your kids to dance in a fun and enjoyable way.
Also, this video has been mirrored for viewing purposes,
so all you have to do is follow exactly what you see on the screen.
The running man move will surely be useful for plenty of dances and choreographies in the future. Let's do our best to master it in this lesson with KIDO!
